This square-sided awl is 5’’ long and has two different profiles on the ends- a point on one, and a soft blade shape on the other. I made this tool originally to offer flexibility while blind tooling into leather, I used the dot end to indicate corners, and the blade made it easy to maneuver curves and in tight places. But this is a simple tool not limited to that explicit use, and selecting a bonefolder is a very personal choice, it would work well for getting into small or tight areas that its length and easy grip would help you reach.
