A pin awl made using a vintage wooden checkers piece for the handle.

These are itty bitty, the checker measures 13/16”across, overall length falls between 1 1/2”- 2”. The checkers are your choice of black or red, made in Japan, with concentric circles and dots on one side, and a crown on the other.

The checker will show signs of its life a game piece, reinvigorated and repurposed to help you have fun making today.

Light and comfortable to hold between pincer fingers, wood handle and handmade steel pin.
